Access
Access to the Social and Behavioural Sciences Library is currently possible for:
- Leiden University students, during their reserved study place time-slot
- Borrowing: patrons wishing to pick up requested library materials from the book lockers can do so, without making an appointment
All visitors need to bring their valid and activated LU-Card to be able to access the library.
The Social and Behavioural Sciences Library at a glance
The Social and Behavioural Sciences Library has 150 regular study places, 60 computer study places, and a comfortable lounge area. Only Leiden University students can reserve a study place.
The book collection is shelved according to the Library of Congress Classification. A substantial part of the collection has been transferred to the University Library. All of these publications can be requested using the catalogue.
Book lockers
All library materials requested for pick-up at the Social and Behavioural Sciences Library are placed in book lockers. Books can be collected from the lockers during the Pieter de la Court building opening hours.
