Group study rooms
The libraries offer several group study rooms, for use by Leiden University students. Rooms need to be reserved in advance, using the university's study places booking system.
Until 26 September 2021
To be able to use a group room together, students will need to book seats individually. Not all seats are available.
Please note that the Leiden University campus protocol also applies to group study room settings.
From 27 September 2021 onwards
To reserve a group study room, one of the students in the group reserves the room in advance, using Leiden University's booking system. The minimum group size for using a group room is 3.
During exam periods, study places in the group rooms are considered individual use study places and can only be booked and used as such.
Leiden University students are welcome to book one of the 8 group study rooms in the UB, seating 6 or 8 people. All rooms are equipped with a smartboard.
Wijnhaven Library group rooms are equipped with a 55” touchscreen with built-in computer plus laptop connection.
Wijnhaven group rooms can be reserved on the day of intended use, for a maximum of 2 hours, using Mapiq.
Cinema room 'Vos'
The Asian Library has a spacious, 15-seat theater room. Please find more information on the Asian Library webpage.
Group study room 'Kern'
To reserve 'Kern', one of the students in the group reserves the room in advance, using Leiden University's booking system. The minimum group size for using the room is 3.
