Group study rooms

The libraries offer several group study rooms, for use by Leiden University students and researchers.

Due to coronavirus regulations in The Netherlands, Leiden University Libraries (UBL) has had to adjust its services. During the December/January lockdown period, the options to reserve a library study place are more limited than before. For an up-to-date overview of our current range of services, please check our webpage on library services during the coronavirus situation.

At the moment, to be able to use a group room together, students will need to book seats individually. Not all seats are available.

Please note that the Leiden University campus protocol and social distancing rules also apply to group study room settings.

Leiden University students are welcome to book separate seats in one of the 8 group study rooms in the UB. All rooms are equipped with a smartboard. 

Cinema room 'Vos'

The Asian Library has a spacious, 15-seat theater room. Please find more information on the Asian Library webpage.

Group study room 'Kern'

To be able to use Asian Library group room 'Kern' together, students will need to book seats individually. Not all seats are currently available.

Wijnhaven Library group rooms are equipped with a 55” touchscreen with built-in computer plus laptop connection.
