The University Library (UB) offers guided group visits and tours, introducing our collections and the rich history of the library.
Due to the international coronavirus situation, Leiden University Libraries has had to adjust its services.
Please find an up-to-date overview of our current range of services on our webpage on library services during the coronavirus situation.
Please fill in our library visit request form at least one week before your intended visit, to allow us to prepare your tour. After receiving your request, we will inform you of the available options. These depend on the availability of our curators and subject librarians, rooms, and your group’s preferences. We prefer to receive groups during office hours, from Monday through Friday between 09:00 and 17:00h.
If we receive your request within a week of the desired date, we can offer a short, standard tour. Please do still fill out the form, so we will be prepared for your visit.
The form can also be used to request a guided visit to the Law Library.
Visitors are welcome to visit the library individually using a personal day/week pass or an annual fee card.
