The library offers 65 study places without computer and two workplaces with computer.
The collection consists of 44.000 titels on Egyptology, Assyriology and archaeology of the Near East. The library also holds a number of special collections:
- Egyptian Art (Collection G.H. de Knegt)
- Islamic Art and Architecture (Collection R. Hoogland)
- Travel literature and country descriptions (Collection D. van der Meulen)
- Near and Middle East (Collection rudolph Said-Ruete/Seyyidah Salme
The collection is for in-house use within the NINO library only. However, printing and scanning is possible.
