It's exam period!
In the busy exam weeks, from 8 December until 1 February, nearly all library study places need to be booked in advance. Only Leiden University students can book study places. For some visitor groups, access restrictions apply.
Requested library materials
On 24, 29, 30 and 31 December, items requested within the University Library (UB) will be made available according to the regular delivery schedule. Requests to and from other library locations made after 22 December 15:00, will be delivered from 6 January onwards.
ILL services
During the holidays, most (university) libraries will be closed. ILL requests made around this period will generally be processed and made available after 5 January 2026.
