These resources form the foundation of our collection — and your research! You can find all of them in our Catalogue. With your ULCN account, you have free access to an enormous number of databases, e-books, and e-journals — wherever you are.

They know everything about collections and academic publications in your field. Be sure to check out the subject guide for your area of study — it offers an overview of relevant collections, databases, and newly acquired books.
If you need help requesting books or using the library, feel free to get in touch with us. Can’t find a book in our collection? You can also borrow it through interlibrary loan or submit a purchase suggestion.
Leiden University Libraries subscribes to a wide range of scholarly and scientific journals and databases relevant to your field. You can access these resources through our Catalogue, where you can search by title, author, or keyword. If an item is available online, simply click the ‘online access’ button to view it.
You can also search specifically for journals and databases using Database Search and Journal Search — these options are available in the top menu bar.
