Centre for Digital Scholarship for Leiden researchers

The Centre for Digital Scholarship of Leiden University Libraries Leiden collaborates with Leiden researchers, faculties, national and international colleagues and centres of expertise to facilitate and support Digital Scholarship – data management, Open Access and answering research queries – using new digital technologies.

Questions, consultancy, training and hands-on support
Leiden researchers can turn to the Centre for Digital Scholarship (CDS) for questions, consultancy and training on data management, open access, copyright, publication advice, digital collaboration environments, text & data mining and GIS. The CDS organizes meetings and workshops in all these areas. In addition, the CDS offers researchers hands-on support and advice concerning research applications and projects, the development of databases and websites, creating and managing digital collections, metadata, digital projects, long-term preservation and digitization of analogue material. The CDS assists researchers in their work by providing appropriate digital options.
