Lots of Dutch novels are set in Leiden, where many authors lived or worked. But which Leiden-related novel was best adapted to screenplay? In April, students and staff members can vote for their favorite film. The film with the most votes will be screened in the UBL cinema room.
Leiden fulfills a special role in Dutch literature: as a setting for stories and as a place of work and residence for leading literati. In April, the UBL will pay special attention to the link between Leiden and literature.
