Young Interfaculty Lunch on Recognition and Rewards
- Wednesday 3 March 2021
- Online, link will be shared with registrants
Dear early-career colleagues,
The Leiden University Committee on Recognition and Rewards recently published their 'Academia in Motion' paper, a document that aims to give direction to changes in the system of recognition and rewards at our university. Currently, the commitee gathers input on this discussion from various groups in our university. This is of course a topic that directly affects early-career scholars, and therefore we would like to discuss recognition and rewards with you and share insights from this discussion with the committee. We therefore cordially invite you to our next Young Interfaculty Lunch, on Recognition and Rewards.
You can sign up here, untill March 2nd. When registering, you will be asked to choose between three themes for the breakout-part of this session:
- Toward qualitative evaluation - promises and pitfalls
- Promotion criteria - how to create a transparent and flexible process?
- Career paths - how to recognize and evaluate different paths (research, teaching, management, impact, patient care)
We are looking forward to seeing many of you. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com
