The access policy for the Asian Library in the University Library will be adjusted starting May 12, 2023.

During the exam periods, all study places with a dark blue or light blue sticker in the Asian Library will be bookable online for all Leiden University students. Reservation is mandatory. All students can place their reservations two days in advance. Students who follow China Studies, Japan Studies, Korea Studies, South- & Southeast Asian Studies or one of the Master's programs within Asian Studies can make reservations three days in advance. The same rules will apply to study places with a dark blue sticker outside exam periods. The upcoming exam period will be from 15 May until 4 June.

Study places for other visitors

Outside exam periods, study places in the Asian Library with a white or light blue sticker can be used freely by all visitors. During exam periods, only the workplaces with a white sticker can be used without booking in advance.
