NINO library re-opens with restrictions on 28 September

24 September 2020

Adjusted NINO library services

Starting 28 September 2020, the NINO library will re-open with some restrictions. Study places are available only to NINO fellows and Leiden University students and PhD candidates from the ONOS and CAC departments. 25 study places are available for reservation on Monday through Thursday during the morning time-slot between 9.00-12.00 hrs. Please visit the NINO library website for more detailed information.

Making a reservation for a study place

To book a study place, send an e-mail to nino@hum.leidenuniv.nl.

Requests can be made one working day in advance, and must be received before 12.00 hrs. Reservations for Monday may be requested on Thursday and Friday. We will let you know as soon as possible whether we are able to grant your request. Requests are processed in the order in which they are received.

Your visit to the NINO library

The NINO library adheres to the same social distancing measures as other UBL library locations. More information about our rules is available our reservation page.

If you are unexpectedly unable to use your reserved study place, please inform us as soon as possible via nino@hum.leidenuniv.nl.

Borrowing books from the NINO library

Due to coronavirus measures the NINO library also offers book loans. Items are determined suitable for loan on a case-by-case basis. Short-term loans of monographs (not of journal issues) can be requested by e-mail through uitleen@library.leidenuniv.nl or NINO subject librarians. Please check if your book is available in our catalogue.
