Untill June 30, 2020 Leiden University Library offers access to the archives of the Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland. The archives contain the key inputs, research data, and outputs of many institute members, and large collections of photographs, drawings, and other kinds of fieldwork representing the efforts, ambitions, and successes of the RAI. Wiley has digitized this material for the first time, after taking care to catalog and conserve many of these items.

The database offers extensive search and browse options, and tools for data analysis and visualization.

The RAI collection is part of Wiley Digital Archives together with the collection of the Royal Geographical Society (founded in 1830). Both collections are available till 30th of June.
