University Library access restrictions during examination period
From 8 December 2018 until 1 February 2019, students registered at educational institutions other than Leiden University, and annual fee card holders who do not verifiably depend on the library collections for their research, will not have access to the UB.
Apart from examination periods, the UB welcomes all visitors.
In recent years, Leiden University Libraries has almost doubled its number of available study spaces. At the same time, we also saw an increase in the number of visitors, causing the University Library and the Law Library to be especially crowded during examination periods. In order to meet Leiden University students' concerns, and in compliance with our library regulations, Leiden University Libraries has chosen to regulate library access.
At the Law Library, the access restrictions apply during the academic year.
