Asian Library: LU-Card access

30 January 2018

The Asian Library is a space for students and researchers using the Asian collections of Leiden University Libraries. In order to allow reading room use as intended, we will regulate access by means of a personal LU-Card access key from 1 February 2018 onwards.

Leiden University students and alumni who have been issued with access rights may activate those rights by placing their LU-Card on the encoder at the reception desk.

Students who do not have access rights but who would wish to use the Asian Library collections and facilities during a course or study program, and other visitors wishing to use the collections, may refer to the library desk on the ground floor of the UB to request access. Library staff is entitled to ask you to document your intended use of the Asian Library.
