Your LU-card is your university ID card and your student card is your proof of student registration. Find out about the cards you need as a student of Leiden University.

Your student registration will expire automatically at the end of the academic year. However, if you end your study programme earlier, you must cancel your student registration.

Bachelor, Master

All students in the Netherlands are invited to take part in the National Student Survey (NSE) once a year. Via the NSE you can give your opinion on the positive aspects of your study programme, as well as what you think could or should be improved.

As a student, you will need to take a number of costs into account. Find out here what you need to consider.

Bachelor

When studying at Leiden University you may be entitled to Dutch student finance and a student travel pass from DUO. Whether you are eligible depends on several factors such as your nationality and length of stay.
