Liberation Day
On Sunday 5 May, Liberation Day, all Leiden University Libraries locations will be closed.
Ascension Day
On Thursday 9 May and Friday 10 May, the University Library (UB) will be open. All other library locations will be closed due to Ascension Day and the bridge day after.

Library materials requests
On 9 and 10 May, loanable library materials requested within the University Library (UB) will be made available according to the usual schedule. Requests needing transport from one library to another will be delayed by several days.
Reading Room Special Collections closure
Due to renovations, the Reading Room Special Collections will be closed from 6 until 17 May. Only limited services will be available. Please contact the Reading Room staff in case you should have any questions. On 9 and 10 May (Ascension Day and the bridge day after), the Reading Room will be fully closed.
